Weipa Camping Ground is a great function venue for corporate events and private celebrations. We have two unique spaces available, the exclusive and private Beachfront Lodge, and the open-air Barramunchies Café with its adjacent gardens and grasslands. Both of these venues have glorious beachfront views, with Albatross Bay and the Arafura Sea providing an epic backdrop for your event. We have some set packages available, but can also tailor our services to meet your event needs. The Beachfront Lodge is a 2 story complex with a shared central space featuring a commercial kitchen, and shaded outdoor deck overlooking the bay. It also has 5 individual guest rooms, with a range of bedding configurations. We can arrange private chefs and catering, with seated meals or cocktails and canapes. Barramunchies Café offers a relaxed beachfront vibe and has been used to host engagement parties, as well as weddings and reception celebrations. Again, we can create a package to suit your needs and events, from seated meals to platters and canapes. Double bonus, your guests can stay with us right here at Weipa Camping Ground.
