Weipa Camping Ground’s facilities are designed to provide our guests with the best possible experience, while visiting Weipa. Our accommodated and camping guests are welcome to make use of the communal facilities, which are serviced regularly throughout each day. These include a swimming pool, kids playground, 3 amenity blocks, camp kitchen, coin laundry and on-site café, which is open late afternoon and early evening. Download a copy of our Park Map here.
Our grounds feature well established trees, providing lots of lovely shade, and green grass which makes us an oasis amongst the red dust of the Cape. In addition to our on-site facilities, Weipa has everything you need to restock, refresh and repair (if needed) including fuel stations, a Woolworths, butcher, baker, newsagents, camping and fishing stores and vehicle service stations. We look forward to giving you a big Weipa welcome, when you come and stay with us.
Weipa Camping Ground is locally owned and family operated. Our team are committed to making your stay in Weipa as great as it can be. We’re always expanding our facilities and think outside the box to create memorable moments and experiences. From a sunset meal at Barramunchies, to having your own private chef at the Beachfront Lodge. Scenic helicopter flights, including an epic Tip In A Day and more. There is lots to see and do in Weipa so make plans and head over to the Western Cape, for friendly folk, fabulous fishing and so much more.
