Our 6 ensuite cabins are all very comfortable and fully self-contained. They have a kitchenette and bathroom and are air conditioned. They come in 2 styles of bedding configurations. 4 cabins have 3 single beds, while the other 2 cabins have a Queen Bed (see below). The kitchenettes have a fridge, stove top, microwave, toaster, kettle, cooking utensils and crockery. Standard cabin inclusions are: TV, linen, towels and an initial supply of tea and coffee. Our ensuite cabin guests are welcome to make use of our facilities, which includes swimming pool, playground, coin laundry, on-site café and tour advice and booking service. Please note that Weipa, like other Cape York destinations, can get very busy during peak seasons (May to August) and school holidays. Our ensuite cabins are very popular and often book-out months in advance. Please read our Rules and Booking Conditions and FAQs before making a booking. Due to the high demand, we strongly encourage you to book prior to your travel, to avoid disappointment. We look forward to seeing you in Weipa.
These cabins are our newer, very comfortable ensuite cabins, which feature three single beds and a living area. These cabins are fully self-contained with a kitchenette, ensuite and private undercover patio. Sleeps a maximum of three (3).

These cabins are perfect for couples who like a bit of luxury. Both of these very comfortable cabins feature a queen size bed, a spacious living area and ensuite. These cabins are fully self-contained with a kitchenette, and private undercover patio. Sleeps a maximum of two (2).

Weipa Camping Ground is a great place to stay on your Cape York adventure. Our grassy grounds have established trees and are well maintained, giving guests a nice reprieve from the red dust of the Cape. We have a shaded swimming pool and café on-site, for your enjoyment and convenience, and provide a tour booking and advice service. We highly recommend one of the scenic helicopter flights or heli fishing charters. Please note our cabins are in a shaded part of the grounds, they are not beachfront. If you’d prefer a beachfront location, then we have 4 fully self-contained villas, a beachfront lodge with 5 rooms and a communal living area and a limited number of unpowered camp sites. Please note we do get busy and strongly recommend pre-booking your stay with us, prior to travel.
Please be aware there is limited parking in the accommodation car parks, and generally there is only room for a car. For guests booking with large boats, trucks, trailers etc, please speak with reception to ensure discuss alternative parking options.
